Ragged Blue is John Rough on banjo, Corki Demers on fiddle & mandolin, Joe Blumenthal on bass, and Terry Atkinson on guitar. The group’s long history and friendship combined with many years experience with different bands makes for a diverse and very entertaining repertoire. Ragged Blue’s music is Bluegrass-based and a fusion of bluegrass, Celtic, jazz, folk, blues, and popular songs. All sing and produce tantalizing harmony vocals. Instrumentals may include jigs, jazz, fiddle tunes, and waltzes; while vocals include ballads, pop songs, and a touch of raucous blues.
